Onsen Tattoo may in future earn commissions when readers book a hotel, ryokan or ticket through links on this site (for example Rakuten Travel, Booking.com, Agoda or Klook). Such links will be labelled “Affiliate links” next to the buttons.
At the time of writing we have no active affiliate partnerships, and no booking buttons are shown. Links to facilities go to their official websites without tracking.
Commissions never change a facility’s tattoo policy label, what we write about it, or the order in which facilities appear. Policies come only from the facilities’ official websites.
